Persqo for Business Sites

The WordPress plugin: test your site like a real visitor, see the results in WP admin, and apply safe fixes you can undo.

Download

persqo-business-sites.zip (version 0.3.2, WordPress 6.0 or later, PHP 7.4 or later, GPLv2 or later).

Install

  1. In WordPress, open Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the zip and click Install Now, then Activate.
  2. In Persqo, open Settings, API keys, and create a key with read and write access. Create an account first if you do not have one.
  3. WordPress opens the Persqo page right after activation (it is also in the admin menu as Persqo). Paste the key and save.
  4. Click Connect this site. The plugin serves your verification token at /.well-known/persqo.txt and as a meta tag on your home page, and Persqo verifies the site.
  5. Pick the kind of site (or keep Detect automatically) and click Run site test. Results show on the same screen in a few minutes.

What AI says about you (GEO)

Right after you connect, the plugin asks one AI engine three questions a customer would ask and shows whether you are named, where, the exact answer, its sources and who is named instead. Paid plans follow ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude over time in the GEO tab. An engine that is temporarily unavailable is shown as such, and no answer is ever made up. WordPress plans.

One-click fixes

For eleven safe fix types, the plugin shows a preview and the values Persqo suggests, lets you edit them, and applies them with one click. Each fix has Undo and a Re-test this finding button that checks the live site. Free applies 3 a month; Undo and re-test never count.

  • Home page title and meta description. With Yoast SEO or Rank Math, the values go into that plugin's own fields; with another SEO plugin you get a link to edit them there.
  • Organization or LocalBusiness schema (JSON-LD). Skipped when your SEO plugin or theme already prints it.
  • llms.txt for AI assistants, served at /llms.txt when you have none, with your business facts.
  • An FAQ block with FAQPage schema from the questions people ask AI. You write the answers.
  • The viewport meta tag, only when it is missing.
  • A call to action link (for example Sign up, Book a consultation or WhatsApp) in your header menu, including the menu an Elementor header uses, plus a button at the bottom of each page. When no menu can be found safely, you get the exact manual steps instead.
  • Security headers (nosniff, a referrer policy, framing by your own site only and a conservative Permissions-Policy) on front end pages only, skipping any your server already sends. HSTS and a Report-Only CSP are separate opt-ins; a full CSP is never set.
  • Test, demo and sample posts or pages you tick move to Draft, never deleted. Undo publishes them again with their original date.
  • Form labels in your site's language for Contact Form 7, Elementor Forms, WPForms and Gravity Forms, written into the form's own settings.
  • A main heading (H1) on pages that have none, or the first Elementor heading made the H1.
  • Speed basics: lazy-loading below the fold, async decoding, the main image first and known safe scripts deferred. Skips what your speed plugin handles, and rolls back by itself if the page gets slower or shows an error.

Fixes are values the plugin stores and applies itself, with a backup of anything it changes. Persqo never sends code to your site. Uninstalling the plugin undoes every fix.

Autopilot (optional)

Off by default. When you turn it on and confirm, Persqo tests your site weekly or daily, the plugin applies only the fix types you ticked, checks them on the live page, and rolls back a fix that breaks the page or makes a check worse. Every change is in the activity log with Undo, and you can get a summary at your admin email. Pause stops it, and uninstalling removes its schedules. Each test uses one test from your plan; when none are left, nothing runs and nothing extra is charged.

Verification behind a cache or firewall

If a caching or security plugin blocks /.well-known/persqo.txt, clear the page cache and press Verify again: Persqo also reads the persqo-verification meta tag the plugin prints on your home page. A DNS TXT record on your domain with the value persqo-verify= followed by your token works too.
